The history and events that have lead to the creation of this site were no accident. The freedoms and inalienable rights endowed by the founding fathers of this great nation were not just created by random chance; they were carefully constructed and planned during a hot summer in 1776 for one purpose: to create a society which would give birth to the thoughts, philosophies, and attitudes which you now find on this site.

This is the burden carried by those of us at 2nd West.

John and Dave do not take this solemn task lightly. They understand it is their duty to give their world a voice. One that wants, nay, NEEDS, to hear their thoughts on any and all subjects, however small and irrelevant. It is their mission to make sense out of an ever complex world.
